Where? Apache Pass Air Park
A fun, enjoyable, family-friendly place located near Rockdale, Texas. The Air Park is across from the Apache Pass Event Center. The Air Park was conceived with agriculture in mind to support our local farmers and ranchers. It is used for this today and to host radio-controlled aircraft regional fly-ins. We welcome spectators to come out and enjoy the events with us.
Apache Pass has lots of historical significance and the whole family will find it an enjoyable place to explore as well. Apache Pass has hosted some really large events…some having upwards of 30,000 coming thru the gates.

Apache Pass is located 5.8 miles northeast of Thorndale, Texas, 7.5 miles northwest of Rockdale, Texas, 13.6 miles southwest of Cameron, Texas, our county seat, and 46 miles northeast of the State Capitol in Austin, Texas, on FM 908 and County Road 428 in Milam County. Coordinates are 30°41’00″N 97°08’22″W, Elevation: 375’ MSL
